Thinking of Joining Cub Scouts?

Cub Scout Pack 262 is holding an information session to introduce boys currently in grades K-3 to Scouting. Come meet some members of our Pack and learn more about how much fun it is to be a Scout!

For over 25 years the Chemistry Department at Sacred Heart University has been offering a 2-week science program for children. Our program, Scitech 21, is a non-profit program of hands-on science and instruction designed to provide students with exciting activities in areas that wouldn’t normally be studied in a traditional classroom. Each Project, demonstration and experiment has been carefully selected with safety in mind. The focus of each course is on “learning by doing” in a relaxed, non-competitive atmosphere.

Girl Scout Troop 34002 is helping Brian J. Silverlieb Animal Care and Control Center in Newtown, CT.
We are collecting animal treats and toys.
Donation boxes will be located at:

Fawn Hollow Elementary School, Stepney Elementary School, Monroe Elementary School, Choice Pet Supply, Stop and Shop and Monroe Town Hall.

 

The deadline for donating is Friday, May 31, 2013.

Webb Mountain Discovery Zone is a 171 acre Outdoor Learning Center whose mission is to promote exploration and learning in a fun hands-on environment.

 

We are looking for energetic, outgoing student volunteers with assistance in:

Afternoon Preschool Program: Tuesdays or Thursdays (2:15pm)

Craft preparation for Preschool Program

Elementary Afterschool Program: Wednesdays or Thursdays (4pm)

Birthday Parties (Occasional Weekends)
