Dear Fawn Hollow Parents, Students and Faculty,
We would like to take this opportunity to welcome everyone to a new school year at Fawn Hollow. We are both looking forward to a wonderful year with many exciting events. Thank you for supporting the PTO through your membership. We hope you will enjoy the benefits of our wonderful directory as well as the chance to help make the most of your children’s educational, cultural, and social experiences at Fawn Hollow Elementary.
Our PTO is a group of dedicated parents and teachers who are working together to help make our school the best it can be. We provide funds to the school for enrichment, cultural events, teacher wish lists, mini grants, and field trips. We have also worked together to raise money for larger expenditures like playground equipment, the fence in front of the school, curtains for the stage and this past year a second computer lab for the teachers and students. In addition to these great benefits, we have family events including the Ice Cream Social, the Holiday Breakfast, Family Fun Nights, the End of the Year Picnic, and many more fun gatherings. This year we plan to add several new events to the schedule including the Trick or Trunk event on Halloween.
All these things are very important but the biggest asset to the PTO is our parents. Your involvement and your ideas help to make the PTO successful. We have both been thrilled with the number of people who have come to us with new, exciting and innovative ways to help better our school. We encourage each and every one of you to join us as we strive to make this school year a great experience for our children.
Finally, we would like to invite you to become more involved in the PTO and to join us at our monthly meetings held the second Thursday of the month at 7:30 pm. This is a great way to learn about what is happening in your school, become involved in helping to make decisions on how to improve our school, and meet the other wonderful parents from Fawn Hollow.
