Weekend Events
The first weekend of spring was special at Fawn Hollow!
Not only was the weather beautiful, but our PTO hosted Family Movie Night and our Cub Scouts were honored at the annual Blue & Gold Banquet.
On Friday evening nearly 100 family members spread out their blankets and pillows, purchased a bag of popcorn and a candy bar, and settled in to enjoy Milo and Otis.
On Sunday, Fawn Hollow’s Cub Scouts received pins, loops and badges at a lovely ceremony and dinner held at Villa Bianca.
I so enjoyed being a part of both events, and am very appreciative of the Fawn Hollow adults who give many hours of their time to provide opportunities for our children.

Trick or Trunk
The first annual Fawn Hollow Trick-or-Trunk Halloween celebration was a huge success this past Saturday! Sixty-five Fawn Hollow families decorated the trunks of their cars in a myriad of ways. Children were treated to the sights and sounds of Halloween including Frankstein's Laboratory, a graveyard, inside the shark's mouth, an enormous spider, and lots of cobwebs. At 1:00 sharp the horn blew and all children present began their trick-or-treat journey from car to car gathering candy, pencils, erasers, and toys. Prizes were awarded for the Most Original (The Klittnick Family), the Scariest (The Gaynor Family) and the Cutest (The Cabral Family). Calendars are already being marked for this event next year!

Welcome Back!
School is off to a terrific start! Our classrooms are filled with enthusiastic children, eager to embrace their new routines and begin their work of learning. Our bus arrival and departure times are improving each day. We appreciate your patience as we work with our new system. I look forward to meeting Fawn Hollow families at our Ice Cream Social on Friday, September 11 at 6:00. The raindate for the social is September 18. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have throughout the school year.

Building Entrance
Fawn Hollow has installed a security system for entering the building. This technology is now installed in all three elementary schools. All doors to Fawn Hollow will be locked during school hours. All visitors must enter via the farthest right front main door and use the intercom (follow the arrow button) to enter. Reminder, all visitors must proceed to the office to sign in and obtain a visitor pass. Parents/Guardian, please walk you child into school during school hours or go over the procedure of entering the building with your child so he/she is aware of the new procedure. All children entering the building after school starts at 8:55 a.m. must report to the office for a tardy pass. We have heard many compliments from our parents/guardians on our new system. We would like to thank parents/guardians for their part in helping keep Fawn Hollow a happy and safe building.
