Honors Calculus Summer Review Packet

Dear 2008-2009 Honors Calculus student:

Attached is the Summer Review Packet for Honors Calculus containing many of the prerequisite skills from Algebra and PreCalculus which we will use in calculus and with which you should be familiar. If you are rusty or have forgotten some of the material, see the web page http://teacherweb.monroeps.org/dw/flamej/ for Calculus for links to some good web sites which explain precalculus topics. There is also a link to the online version of our PreCalculus book, Advanced Mathematical Concepts, which you used last year.

Print out the packet and do all work neatly on the packet sheets themselves. The packet will be due the first day back to school. I will collect and grade the packet and count it as the first Problem Set for the course. I have also attached the general directions for all Problem Sets. Please be sure to read the paragraph regarding late submissions.
