Dress Code


Parents are responsible for the apprearance of their elementary school child. Children should be dressed appropriately for school with an eye toward neatness, cleanliness, and moderatin of appearance.

Children shoud wear shoes and clothing that are practical and comfortable. Please, no open-toed shoes without socks or shoes without backs-children have a very hard time playing on the playground with these types of shoes! Also, in order for children to participate in gym, they must not be wearing jewelry and they must be wearing sneakers on those days.

Clothing or other apparel that causes a disruption to school is inappropriate - items such as bare midriffs, painted hair, untied shoes, hats (in school), unbuttoned shirts, tank tops, heavy or black soled boots and torn clothing. Clothing with questionable patches, insignias or sayings including those with drug or alcohol messages is also inappropriate.
