Your involvement at Fawn Hollow is appreciated and a great assistance to us in providing your child’s education. Volunteering at Fawn Hollow can take place in a number of ways. Teachers have procedures for requesting volunteers for help in class or on field trips. Mrs. Gentili, our librarian, seeks volunteers to assist in the library and the PTO is always looking for volunteers to assist with their many programs. Should your schedule not allow you to be at school during the day, there are numerous activities in the evening or on weekends that you could be involved with or you might have a special skill or talent that might be of assistance to the school. These are all important contributions that can be made for the benefit of the children and provide for parent interaction in your child’s education.

Should you desire to have lunch with your child, please send a note to your child’s teacher at least three days prior to your planned visit. This will allow grade level teachers to insure space is available and to inform our food service staff of changes in lunch numbers. Due to space limitations and supervision liability issues, other care arrangements must be made for younger siblings.

Due to safety liability and supervision concerns we can only allow Fawn Hollow staff to accompany and supervise students at recess or on the playground. We can not allow parents to accompany children to recess.

When volunteering at Fawn Hollow always remember to sign in at the office and get a visitors label.

Your cooperation in working together to provide the safest and most comfortable learning environment possible for the children is appreciated. Should you have any question please call the office at 203-452-5846.
