Welcome Fawn Hollow Families and Faculty:
Thank you for visiting FHS PTO website. We want to take the opportunity to welcome all our returning students and staff as well as a warm welcome to the new students, families, and staff. We are looking forward to a wonderful year ahead. Thank you for supporting the FHS Parent Teacher Organization. The PTO is a group of parents and teachers working together to support FHS to make the most of our children’s education and social experience. We welcome every parent or guardian of a Fawn Hollow student to participate. We are currently working on updating our website and PTO communication.
Fawn Hollow is truly fortunate to have extremely dedicated and generous parent and staff volunteers, who invest time, energy, and funding which provides our children an opportunity to participate in a school where quality education in a caring environment is just the beginning.
The monies raised through various organized fundraisers are carefully allocated and given back to the children and school in some form. All certified teachers receive wish list checks; each grade receives funding towards field trips. Each year we allocate a large amount for both cultural and enrichment programs to enhance our children’s education. The PTO is responsible for many social events including the ice cream social, holiday breakfast, family fun movie night and end of the year picnic. We have worked together for larger expenditures including new playground equipment, the fence and landscaping for the front of the school, and most recently we funded the summer library program.
Our greatest asset is the great number of parents and family members who make themselves available as volunteers. We invite all of you to share whatever time, unique talent, and contributions you have to offer. We are always looking for volunteers to help organize events, help during the events, provide assistance with data entry, make phone calls, craft items, and culinary delights.
We encourage you to become more involved and to learn more about what we do. Please feel free to call one of us or any of the executive board members if you have any questions or suggestions. We hope you will join us at one of our monthly meetings held the third Thursday of the month at 7:30 pm. It is a great way to be involved and keep up to date on the activities of your children and the Fawn Hollow family. We are very proud of our students, staff, and volunteers. Working with the PTO is one of the best ways to become an active participant in your child’s education.
