At Jockey Hollow our mission is to identify and meet the needs of the whole child by providing a safe, supportive, and challenging learning environment.

Jockey Hollow School educates over 600 adolescents grades 7-8 in a high-tech, modern facility. Jockey Hollow opened its doors in August of 1998, as one of two schools on the Monroe Middle School campus. It's sister school, Chalk Hill, houses the 5th and 6th graders in Monroe.

The uniqueness of Jockey Hollow is that the building, curriculum, and pedagogy are all built around the needs of the pre-adolescent. What we do and what we say are geared for the success, safety, and self-esteem of our students. Jockey Hollow is about providing a culture for growth; setting high, realistic expectations; celebrating successes; and engaging children and adults in healthy, meaningful relationships.
