Welcome to Team Commander!  Since the middle school acts as a transition between the dependence of an elementary school and the total independence of high school, our philosophy centers on this transitional time for your child.  Students who are willing to set goals, work hard, and accept leadership can look forward to a challenging and successful year.  You will enjoy a time of excitement and discovery as you have opportunity to fulfill your potential and prepare for the future.  Let the journey begin!

As Team Commander our goal is to develop leadership as well provide students the opportunity to become confident and responsible learners.  The needs of the whole child will be addressed.  Our team will be planning many special events throughout the year including interdisciplinary units and thematic units in all subject areas.  We look forward to beginning the JOURNEY with you.
