Gambling Awareness in Monroe through Educating our Students
GAMES promotes leadership skills while educating students about the perils of gambling and how it can lead to addiction. Many activities are sponsored by GAMES such as the Fresh Fest, the Alternative Outreach Program, Mix It Up Day, etc. It is a peer to peer model that works. The three consistent messages are: Choosing not to gamble is a legitimate choice; if you are going to gamble do it legally; and finally reduce your risks.
