· Use the two parking lanes for safety, please drop your children off in the parking lanes (aisles). Please do not use the driveway in front of the school since it is the main driveway (loop) for the buses.
· As you pull in, please drive all the way down the aisle of the parking lot to allow more cars to follow.
· Also, as you pull in, please bear left (close to the islands) so that the buses can pull in on the right side.
· Cars can pass a parked bus only when red lights are not flashing. Passing buses with red lights flashing is an egregious motor vehicle violation.
· Once the loop is full, bus will be diverted to the Chalk Hill parking. Please use a parking space and park there to allow students to exit vehicle.
· Students must use the side walk and proceed to the main entrance foyer at all times.
· Drop Off students should wait in the auditorium/foyer area until 7:20 AM.
Afternoon Pick-Up:
· Students who are being picked should wait in the auditorium/foyer until all the buses leave.
· Students who are picked up every day should have a note on file in the main office.
· Parents will park at Chalk Hill at dismissal for pickups. Parents may walk from the Chalk Hill parking area to the Jockey Hollow Lobby should they wish to pick up their child while buses are loading.
· After the buses leave, students will wait by the front wall for pick up.
· Once the buses leave, parents may pick up in the front of the building.
Again thank you all for your patience and help as we establish new routines for the children. Remember, our first priority is the safety of all our students.
