7 District Parent Clubs, 6 Committees, Endless Opportunities For You To Get Involved.

Next Meeting:
Wednesday, September 6, 2023 - 9:30am.

Location : Monroe Public Schools District Office, 375 Monroe Turnpike

Guest Speakers : Superintendent Joe Kobza and Assistant Superintendent Sheila Casinelli

Welcome!

We look forward to serving and supporting our school district family with you!

The Monroe Parents' Council is comprised of representatives from the Monroe Public School district's parent clubs. We provide a forum for members to share information about their respective schools, fundraising activities, and other topics of interest. These representatives act as liaisons between the Parents' Council and their respective school PTO or parents' club. Our representatives strive to increase and improve communication between teachers, administrators, and parents for the achievement of excellence in education for Monroe students.

Monthly meetings include: reports from each PTO, a report from the Superintendent of Schools, guest speakers such as school principals, teachers, community members and elected officials providing updates on issues of concern to Monroe parents and educators.

Parents' Council members serve on committees including Alcohol and Drug Awareness of Monroe (ADAM), Celebration of Reading, Curriculum, Nominating, End of Year Luncheon and Friends of Education. Members are also occasionally asked to serve on other committees for the Monroe Public School district as the need arises.

Meetings are generally held on the first Wednesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. in the district offices' conference room at 375 Monroe Turnpike. Meetings are open to the public.  Please consider joining us!
