Registration for children eligible to start Kindergarten in the fall of 2023 will take place starting Monday, February 6, 2023. Under State law, to be eligible for Kindergarten in the fall of 2023, children must be at least five years old on or before January 1, 2024. All three Monroe elementary schools received School of Distinction Honors from the state of Connecticut for their performance on the Spring 2022 Smarter Balanced Assessment. Monroe Elementary was awarded honors for Overall High Performance; High Growth for all students in ELA and Math; High Growth for High Needs Students in Math Fawn Hollow was awarded honors for Overall High Performance Stepney was awarded honors for Overall High Performance Congratulations to all students and staff!
